We carry out all services relating to pictures, specialising in all types of framing, including hand made bespoke frames as well as picture conservation, cleaning and restoration.
Framing is carried out on the premises by Barry Keene, a fully qualified Master Frame Maker.
He started working in the art world in 1963 at the Reading Fine Art Gallery, where he completed a 5 year Fine Art Trade Guild apprenticeship in framing.
During this time he also trained as a picture conservator and restorer learning about pictures from the inside, surrounded by and handling wonderful things by day and studying painting and drawing at the Berkshire College of Art in the evenings.
With over 48 years experience in making every description of picture frame, there is very little that he hasn't framed and is able to offer expert advice and help in choosing the right frame for your picture.
